It's nothing more than another ploy from Jason. He says 'SEO is bullshit', and suddenly 10,000 SEOs link to him and comment on what he says. How ironic is it that Jason can take advantage of an industry by simply slagging it off? We're the ones being played for fools here, as it's the SEO community who link to what he says or comment on them. He's a deviously clever man who has given himself a massive SMO boost through his ironic stunts.

Jason's post is titled:

Why people hate SEO... (and why SMO is bulls$%t)

He likes to bash both SEO and SMO.

Didn't he say SEO (not SMO) is bullshit? Well, anyways he will do anything to get in the news or start a buzz. I mean he needs that as he tries to sell a directory for a "search engine". Basically he already failed with Netscape so he is desperate. I like Mahalo not because of him but in spite of him.
I like the entry for SEO at Mahalo:
http://www.mahalo.com/Seo
It's a good overview. No "bullshit" there.
Of course it's because he has contributors he exploits. At least they are paid at all.
