I noticed that MSN was indexing URL fragments. A URL fragment is the part of a URL that comes after a pound sign like this:

http://example.com/page#section

Google removes the fragments from URLs.

What will the effect be of indexing anchors as separate URLs? Single pages with multiple URLs? Is it just a temporary MSN SERPs bug like this one?
